I am a retired physical therapist and
was a senior lecturer in physical therapy at the Caledonia University in
Scotland.
I had the misfortune of having to go
through a double hip replacement procedure before Ewa went into practice
for herself. Based on my past experience working with recovery patients,
my expectations going into surgery was that I would have to face a long
and hard recovery time.
Ewa worked with me closely post
surgery and was absolutely amazing!... I was walking unassisted after
only 3 weeks!.... Yes, I give a lot of credit to my surgeon for a great
procedure, but Ewa made it happen....when I walked into DR. Chris Cox's
office without crutches for my first post surgery visit his jaw almost
hit the floor!
Not only was Ewa very professional in
her approach, but she drove me hard to a fast recovery with superb
technique while ensuring I was completely safe in doing so. She has this
wonderful ability to make you feel completely relaxed around her with
her caring attitude and light hearted sense of humor which I feel is
just as important for patient recovery.
That being said, she took a "non
nonsense" stand with me which was exactly what I needed, since physical
therapists often make rotten patients!...

I started working with Ewa after a
back injury, working with her on Pilates techniques. Under her
instruction and guidance, I have returned to all of my previous
activities, including horseback riding three times a week.
I am stronger than before...feel
better and have the knowledge to protect myself from further injuries
through proper exercise techniques and body awareness.
She...inspired me an has been an
inspiration to me

I was very stiff, suffering from
chronic pain. Today I have a new injury and movement of my head is
restricted and sore.
Just after one treatment I am much
more flexible and feel much better - it is not nearly so difficult to
move.
Hurrah for Ewa!

Dear Dr. Zaborowski,
I long ago intended to write you, time
is an illusion for me these days! I wish to thank you...your clinic and
your clinician, Surgee, with whom I worked have been wonderful and very
effective.
I do commend your R/X of Vertigo...Vidette
has been gracious and helpful; the office was run very efficiently while
you were gone.
I mentioned Dr. Valla of Whisper
Hearing Center and his recommendation of your clinic, I have thanked
him. Again, I thank you. Your therapy has been very helpful...I do so
appreciate your work.
Sincerely,

Dear Ewa
With a surgically repaired fractured
right patella that had been immobilized in a full leg brace for about 4
months, I think I was just beginning some weight bearing using a walker.
It was a big step from the wheelchair to the walker and manipulating a
walker to climb and descend the 20 stairs to my home was a tremendous
challenge.
Thanks to my wonderful therapist at
EZ-Rehab, I now have a completely normally functioning right leg except
the surgically inserted pins prevent me from kneeling. My orthopedic
surgeon has given me permission for all normal activities including a
return to my aerobics class. From there it's on to the Senior Olympics!
Yes, there were days of discouragement, but Ewa provided a nurturing
confidence that step by step I would get there. Thanks Ewa, you never
let me down, or let me feel down for long - your outstanding
professional expertise, your caring and concern, and your conviction
about my ability to heal made it possible.

Dear Ewa and Surgee,
...You guys are definitely the best
P.T's I have ever had and I think you should be on this most important
list that gets routinely passed out to patients in need of physical
therapy...

Dear Ewa,
My right upper side was unable to move due to a stroke - from my fingers
to my shoulder.
I am perfect with perfect mobility.
Ewa saved my life with her special massages and following her
instructions working hard on the Pilates machines. She has amazing
patience and a totally positive outlook on my recovery. She understood
the physiological affects the the stroke incurred and had an excellent
knowledge of what exercises to do in order to set my functions back.

Dear Ewa,
I had severe left neck pain, limited range of motion of neck,
particularly upon turning of the neck to the left side.
I have marked improvement of the range
of motion of the left side of neck. The pain has decreased by 75% and
degree of remaining 25% is much decreased in degree of pain. It is more
like soreness rather than pain.

I had lower back pain and my leg hurt
so that I was limping. Surgee worked on strengthening my lower back,
several times commenting that the limp was possibly caused from a hip
problem. It was confirmed with an MRI that I was in need of a hip
replacement.
My hip has been replaced and now
working on further strengthening my lower back. I am convinced why the
recovery time from the hip replacement was so fast was because of the
strengthening of my lower back and legs prior to the surgery prescribed
during the therapy sessions with Surgee and exercises she recommended
for me to do at home.

Two years ago I was involved in a
serious car accident resulting in a loss of consciousness and a left
shoulder and upper body injury. It was difficult and painful to transfer
from a standing to lying down position or vice versa. The doctor put my
arm in a sling and prescribed Vicodin and physical therapy.
I never filled the prescription for
Vicodin as I am sensitive to strong medication, I opted for over the
counter pain meds and physical therapy. Ewa Zaborowski at EZ-Rehab used
several modalities including laser and massage therapy and instruction
in an exercise routine. She encouraged me to follow the routine and not
allow "frozen shoulder" syndrome to develop. After a few weeks my
shoulder and upper body felt normal again. I have continued to exercise
on my own and my body is in good shape.
Thank you EZ-Rehab!

Sharp pain in my rib cage (left side)
due to a hairline fracture. This condition was not healing by itself. It
had been this way on and off for several months.
The condition is about 90% better with
treatment and exercise within a few weeks. Expect to be playing golf
again (and add about 20-30 yards to my drive!)

I was very cautious and careful of any
movement after a hip dislocation.
I can walk with stamina, for longer
distance and increased pace. Balance and other exercises have help a
lot. I felt that all exercises were individually tailored to my age and
physical condition.
